Reseller Ledger is a Chrome extension that reads your own Vinted and eBay sold-items activity and turns it into a profit ledger and tax-year export. This page explains what data we touch, why, where it goes, how long we keep it, and what control you have over it.
This website doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies needed to make the site function.
By default, your ledger data (sales, fees, costs you enter) is stored locally in your browser via Chrome's local storage, not on a remote server — it stays on your device unless you choose to export it. If we introduce an optional cloud-sync feature in future (for backup across devices), it will be opt-in, clearly labelled, and off by default. Where we do hold data on our servers (e.g. your email address, or account and billing records once paid plans launch), we keep it only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations (such as UK tax record-keeping requirements for our own business), and delete it on request as described below.
We don't sell or rent your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
Some of the third parties above (e.g. hosting infrastructure) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on their own standard safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for adequate protection of your data.
We use industry-standard measures (such as encrypted connections everywhere data is transmitted) to protect the data we hold. No system is ever 100% secure, but we treat your data as something to protect carefully, not something to be careless with.
The Service isn't directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Reseller Ledger is not tax software. It tracks your sales, fees, and profit, and can export a report shaped for the UK Self Assessment tax year — it doesn't calculate what tax you owe, file anything with HMRC, or give tax advice. Always confirm your figures with an accountant or HMRC before filing.
